I have an on-site interview scheduled at Google Kirkland next month. I have solved half of the problems (about 450) in leetcode. I consider myself good in coding, data structure and algorithms. But I think I struggle to explain solutions of system design questions. And struggle too much on behavioral questions. Any suggestions? ~6 years at Microsoft + PhD in cs. TC ~170k.
Ms definitely low paying you, hope you can get at least double check from google! Good luck!
Dang. Your SSA would need to be crazy high to stop you from leaving for TC alone...
To answer your question, LinkedIn learning has a good online course on how to answer hard interview questions, the behavioral ones. As an MSFT employee you have free access.
For design check out “grokking design interview” courses from educative.io . It is paid service but it completely worth it. For behaviorals find Amazon behavoral questions from the internet and do your homework for each of the question (be ready to know what to say). If you dont have good answers for some questions think about how to enrich something so that you can go down to details comfortably
