Google L3 HC cleared

I cleared Google L3 HC today. I am interested in working on infra challenges like increasing perfromance, low latency, system programming, kernel hacking lockless algorithm kind of challenges. Can you guys please tell me orgs and teams that do this kind of thing and especially if you know you have headcount. I dont have expereince doing system programming but I have intermediate knowledge of C++11. Current YOE- almost 2 Current TC-118 Google TC undecided.

I was unaware that there was a timetable to do that.

I am sorry if it sounds I am overreaching, but I want to learn these kind of skills in my carrer and I would like to work on a team that does this though I know its very unlikely.

Something to note is that even if you end up in a team you aren't as interested in, there are plenty of opportunities to move around. Given the internal visibility you'll have, this is probably the best way to learn about what would actually interest you.

I agree I can always change after a year but it just would be bettr for everyone if I get matched to a team I am itnerested in from the start. By the way are there teams at Google doing system programming kind of work like Elastic BS.

Fuschia, Chrome OS, and Android are the first things that come to mind. Probably plenty of other folks doing low-level work in non-OS related capacities too.

It’s quite hard to get a team that you want especially at L3. Moving internally later on is usually the most common option if you don’t like your current team.

I agree hopefully because of cloud there will be enough vacancies

Leetcode count? E/M/H? How was your interview experience

Oracle vAPF84 OP Jan 13, 2020

Around 90 LC hard, 100 Medium. Leetcode contest is a better judge of how good you are. I started coming in top 150 when I was writing clean modular code for contests, if i would have used hacks top 75 probably. Interviews was good one LC hard, 3 LC medium-hard some of them could be legit hard too.
