Google L4 TPM Seattle/Kirkland
In team match phase, no offer yet. Recruiter shared the minimums for the L4 level, but left it open ended with "it can go up from there..." What do you think the reaction would be to this ask? 150K base/15% bonus/260K stock I have a competing offer from non-FAANG company. I heard L4 TPM top range for TC was 250K, so this seems reasonable to me. Currently 200K TC with 12 YOE

What are the minimums that they gave you? Those numbers seem a little bit larger than expected but this is negotiation so that should be ok. Also, don't forget to ask for a signing bonus

I would try to target 40-50k. Probably you will get 20-30k

I did a final leveling interview but for some reason they kept me at L4. Perplexing

Yeah our application system is definitely on the slower end, almost everyone I know got in through referrals, but even with referral you're not guaranteed to be selected for interviews
