I just got hiring committee approval for a L6 PM offer. Matching should be fine as I’ve already talked to some teams. What should I expect for an offer? For comparison, I received a L6 PM offer from Lyft, $200k salary, I think it was 26k RSUs (at $10B valuation), $20k sign-on back in late 2017. TC was $473k the first year and $453k if you ignore the signing bonus after. Some other numbers I’m familiar with, around same time at Lyft I saw $205/29k/$50k for TC of $493k (L6 PM, I thought that was quite good). I also saw $425k TC at Twitch for L6 and $400k TC at Google for L5, all back in late 2017/early 2018. I’ve been out of the game for a bit, so looking for some more recent numbers.
Can I ask why you’re looking to leave Lyft? Now that stock will finally become liquid...
Congrats on the l6 offer from google. I don’t think those are common?
L5 google is around 300tc. So l6 is at least 400tc
So PMs are paid less than sde? Can a senior engineer(new 64) get through L5 pm in Google?
26k RSUs at $10B valuation ...dafug is anyone supposed to do with these numbers...
Sorry... I think the price per share back then was $39.75.
Now it’s $80, you are making 26k*80=2080k 4yrs, which means 502k/yr for just RSU!
Probably a 6 month lockout
Yoe?
