CNBC has an article reporting under 50 roles eliminated and those folks would have an opportunity to find new roles. Another article I read this morning quotes company officials as saying “around 4 dozen”. Really minor in the scheme of things - but I am sure stressful for those impacted. Personally - I have always managed my career with the hope of getting laid off knowing severance and new job opportunities are a good thing - but I do not think most look at it that way. Having seen my father laid off once by a company he committed 20+ years to - I realized you should always be prepared and have a plan.
