- Applied Machine Learning
- Deep Learning
- Recommendations/Ranking/Prediction

    Not to be rude, however why are you interviewing if you don't understand the differences?

    Recommendations/etc are a type of outcome from a ML model prediction. Typically they fall under Classical ML as opposed to Deep Learning.

    "Applied ML" means having experience either supporting the whole ML lifecycle in a production environment or being the Data Scientist creating the moles. Likely the former.
