Google MountainView vs Sunnyvale
I was team matched with GoogleActions(MV) and Google Cloud(Sunnyvale). Still deciding which one to pick. Besides others factors can some1 pitch in, what benefits will I miss working in Sunnyvale vs MV office. TC@Amazon 250k Expecting 300+ @google.
There is no significant difference between svl and mtv. Optimize for the position instead.
Shoreline traffic vs Sunnyvale traffic is a huge difference. But yeah optimize for the position for sure.
Sunnyvale traffic is less, I believe. Also, you’ll still have your own cafes and stuff. You are also close to the Google Tech Corners campus which has a ton of food variety.
Indian food is bad in Sunnyvale..only MTV has good one's
Food is good in MV..more options And more walking trails too in MV
The food is definitely better at SVL. The cafeterias are new and the food is more upscale. There are also plenty of hiking trails starting at Yahoo building.

SVL is slightly farther from SF, dunno where you live. There are also ^slightly^ fewer buses and options than MTV, at least near B40 building. Food options at both are plentiful. Great facilities at SVL (outdoor lap pool, basketball court, community garden, baristas). MTV you practically have to trek to Coffee Lab for a decent cup of coffee. MTV has Google density though (classrooms, ramen cafe, TGIF, more Googley energy.) You def feel more in the Cloud World in SVL.
Any compensation difference between both locations? What about cost of living?
Lol go to google cloud... Benefit you would be missing otherwise is not being a part of the company’s main stream of revenue in the future.. Also, tf is google actions lol (sorry)
Google Actions has a vast market, can you imagine not opening apps like Lyft, ubereats etc but use them by talking to google asst. The catch is who quickly penetrates this space Alexa or Google.
