I would say the announcements are interesting, but I wouldn’t say it’s an “amazing event”. Anthos, Cloud SQL support for MS SQL, and Active Directory support for MS Active Directory are pretty interesting. However, Google NEXT feels like a giant marketing dig. These announcements could have easily been done else where
Also Cloud Data Fusion is cool. Stupid names tho
