Google NY L5 team match

Hi Blind,

Google recruiter got back to me said that I am good for a L5 role.

Started team match last week with two teams and I have expressed interest to both but neither worked out.

Ever since then I have not heard any new team that expressed interest.

Reading past posts here seems to show NY is a particularly difficult office to get into.

Is it true that there is very few head count at NY? What should I do to sell myself to the hiring manager?
