I gave virtual google onsite for SWE L4 position and got mixed feedback from the recruiter. Out of 4 technical interview, 2 were hire and 2 no hire. Out of 2 no hire, 1 was expected but I am surprised about the other as the interview was good if not great. The googleyness was a strong hire. The recruiter mentioned that she will reach out to teams and will get back by Monday (2.5 days). In case no team is interested then they will end the process. According to the recruiter, I had good knowledge about the data structures and its applications. What are my chances here? Will any team be interested in going ahead with such interview feedback? #google #softwareengineer #engineering #software #swe

how many of the 5 do u need to nail? 4?
5
4 hire is also fine if one is learning no hire
Did the recruiter say the name of each person and their feedback?
My recruiter told me that my feedback was mixed too. But I didn’t get more specific details. I got approved for L3. Interviewed for L4.
Did your recruiter specify which interviewer gave which feedback?
The recruiter did specify in my case. So I know which interview was good but still got a no hire.
Was there no system design round?
No, 4 technical plus 1 googleyness
Not worth the time. You need 2+ strong hire for a better case.
Yes, I don’t have much hope.
At what part of the process do they tell you that you had 2 no hires and 2 hires?

Thank you AAPL and NVDA
2 no hire seems very unlikely
As in no team will be interested?
As in hiring committee will reject even with a team.
