Hey PM hiring managers and committee! I have my first interview with Google for their general pool of PM hiring and am so excited. Literally dream job. Apart from the general requirements and materials recruiters and online websites share (product design, strategic, analytical), what makes a PM standout during the interviews? If there are any websites or study materials that you strongly recommend, please share! Current YOE: 11mo (4 in product) FT, 16mo internships TC: 95+30k (Toronto) #google #hiring #productmanager #hiringmanager #PM #productmanagement
Less than 2 YoE is probably an APM interview? Anyways, good luck OP! For the phone screen focus on product design, strategy, and your behavioral Qs (fav products, why, what you would improve, why G, etc.). Your recruiter should help guide you. I found cracking the Pm interview and decode and conquer books helpful, as well as some youtube product design examples (listen to on 1.5 or 2x speed)
Thanks! They didn't state it was APM but since I'm less xp I'd probably be bucketed in that category, not sure. Appreciate the tips :)

You're being interviewed for L4 PM with 11 months FTE? Wow. All the best! Were the internships in FAANGMULA+?
