Google Recruiter Post Onsite Email: Pass or Fail
*UPDATE* The recruiter called to inform me that I passed Hiring Committee and I'm going to start team matching ASAP. The 34% had it! I'll give you all the facts I've got and I want blind to vote if I passed or failed. I'll reveal the results next week. About me: 7 years of full stack web dev. I've worked in a few large tech companies and a few startups. I've done about 50 LC mediums over the past 6 months. Interview: I was onsite a week ago. I had 4 or 5 rounds and I'd say I felt that I did average compared to other interviews I've participated in. I pass about 50% of onsites I've been on and I never can guess if I've done well or not. The email: Hi FirstName, Thanks for taking the time to speak with our team. Would you have sometime on Monday or Tuesday to sync briefly with me? Thanks! So now you know everything I know. Blinders, it's time to make that choice: Pass or Fail. TC: 380

Brief sync seems like a brief rejection if I had to guess.

google recruiters I’ve seen so far, if you passed hc or got an offer they will include good news or congrats in the email subject... idk maybe your recruiter is different.
Yeah I think I've noticed seeing "good news" when I've passed. I think you're right!

Hahah. It was a week ago so I don't remember exactly. Point taken though, I guess it doesn't apply to the question at hand. Maybe some people get walked out halfway through?
Nah google doesn’t do that - afaik none of the FAAMGs do it It’s also impossible, at least at G since you won’t have access to other interviewers feedback immediately I am curious about what will happen though , update this thread when you get the feedback pls

I might be wrong, but they typically wouldn’t keep you guessing like that if the news is good. They usually say something like “let’s chat (good news)” in the emails
