Have an on-site at Google for the Google ads team. They've sent me a case study to "crack" during the interview. Anyone know what exactly they're expecting? Also, does this role go to the HC? It's a fairly entry level role and it seems they're trying to make a lot of hires. TC ~ 75 YOE 1 - Non tech

Bars been lowered. A lot of people get hired. You’ll probably get slotted at L2 since you’re a new grad. This role may have no HC or a very rubber stamp HC. Usually HM will review all interview feedback and agree with the recruiter who to push through HC/offer. You’ll probably be hired in a batch since most L2 hirings are. You’ll be given a role with extremely limited scope, high turnover and dysfunctional leadership. This is because most healthy teams have outsourced most L2-scoped work and only the teams that have trouble scaling hire L2s. You’ll be in a dog fight to stand above the rest of your peers/cohort. Scramble for L3 and then desperately transfer to any role with an opening. But at least you’ll get paid well and free food.
Yikes. Thanks for the candidness. Any idea how long it takes to get promoted in a role like this?
Year and a half for the best performers, 2 on average and slow people/diversity hires may take 3
