Hello - I am interviewing for a strategic partner manager lead role @ Google . The recruiter said this could be a L6 or L7 role. . What is a typical TC for a L6 as a partner manager and whats is the TC for a L7 . Thanks in advance folks
Fake job. Good luck strategically partnering with managers to manage your partner strategy.
Otherwise known as Doing The Needful.
WTH does a strategic partner manager do?
Its a BD role
The title does exist. They manage relationships with strategic partners (e.g. e-commerce platforms etc) in a product agnostic way No clue how their salaries are structured tho
I will venture and guess partner managers make less than product managers at similar level and more comparable to marketing managers. So asked another way ... what is the TC for a L6, L7 Product marketing manager at Google ?
The title exists - it’s a fancy title for Biz Dev. People normally move out of those roles into Sales or ops roles.
I think this title has a range listed on Glassdoor
OP - how’d this end up?
Turned down similar. $160K + $100K worth of stock + 20% bonus + usual perks.
why did you turn it down?
That's a whole lot of buzzwords for one job title!
I thought so too until I started to interview for the role ;)
