Google Team Match before HC
My packet is being given to HC today but I have already been matched to a team. I have been scouring blind forums ever since my on-site and have seen a trend where people say that being team matched before HC means your application is weak. On the other hand, my recruiter says my application is strong and I got 4/5 hires in the on-site. Any insights on this? Also, how long after HC should I expect to hear back from my recruiter?
You will be team matched before HC if your packet is very strong to speed up the process. There is the other situation where your packet is kind of ok and needs a hiring manager push.
As far as I know itâs the new process for most candidates. I had a strong packet and also had a team before HC. Recruiter said 99.9% chance before HC but still was nervous. Gl!

Recruiter told me I have very good feedback from all interviewers, had team matching before HC. Signed the offer few weeks ago.
What does it mean to be team matched before interviews? Originally recruiter wanted me to do the regular interview rounds but later said I matched a team can skip the phone interview and they reduced the tech rounds from 5 to 4 onsite
Briefly, Team matching is a process in which you have phone interviews with multiple teams' hiring manager until you and the hiring manager think you're a good fit for the team
PS, I also skipped phone interview but still had a 5 round on-site

I actually haven't been told my level yet, I'm expecting L4 but have heard that ppl are being low-balled with l3 offers when expecting l4
I negotiated a much better (than the initial) offer at L4 recently. Get in touch once you have the offer confirmation.
