Got an L3 offer at Google (250k TC with Sign On). Not much of a pay bump from my current TC. After some negotiation recruiter arranged for 2 additional interviews in order to try for L4. Has anyone experienced this before? If yes, can you share your experience. How is the difficulty of questions in these follow up interviews? Also will the original offer remain? yoe - 2.5 #google #amazon #leetcode
what's your YOE?
OP, what's your current level at Bezoland?
Updated :)
you will still have l3 even if u bomb l4 interviews. confirm this with recruiter clearly though. i was offered 2 additional rounds for l5 for which i denied.
Why deny?
Did you end up taking the offer from Google?
How did u get interviews? Currently at amzn and about to jump as well.
Don't bother negotiate to keep the L3 offer. Believe in yourself and kick ass on site. Good luck!
I bombed both additional rounds very badly. I am still able to be in L3 team matching right now as promised by the recruiter. He told me HC approved me for L3 and gave me option to take additional rounds for L4. He was very clearly to me that those additional interview had nothing to do with my L3 rating. However, I am just worried right now about if the feedback to my additional rounds will impact the chance of me matching a team or not. :( Now I think about it. I should have tried to got a team matched and got an offer for L3 before I decided to choose the L4 additional rounds or not. Right now I am stuck with L3 team matching due to bad timing. The recruiter told me I had to compete with intern conversion and the college hiring process right now. And the L3 openings are extremely limited at this moment. If I didn’t choose to precede with additional round, I suspect that I would have been matched with some team in January. I wasted around 3.5 weeks into the L4 rounds (1.5 weeks prep + 2 weeks to get feedback)
OP did you get l4 offer eventually? In a same position. This can help me to decide. Thanks.
Did you make sure you won't lose the offer if you bomb both of them in the worst case?
You can’t make sure that, if you screw up the committee gets to see everything
Should I confirm this with the recruiter? I was not sure if I should ask this
