Google cloud platform sales exec interview - report and steps?
East coast based position Submitted my application through the careers portal. Got a call two weeks later from recruiter. On the spot phone screen with recruiter. Was cleared to move to the next step. I informed recruiter I’m already in final stages interviewing with another company so interview was expedited. Phone call with recruiter was Thursday. Interview today. I was not required to go onsite anywhere. Had three hangout interviews today. These interviews have been discussed here previously. General knowledge, cognitive/problem solving/ googly. I emailed thank you to recruiter and informed that everything came off without a hitch. Recruiter replied that they would connect with interview team then get back to me with next steps. So now I wait. Any ideas about what to expect? I feel good about my performance, but suspect my offer/ no offer will come down to whether I’m a fit on the googlyness. Anyway. What are next steps? I’ve already submitted references. If I get an offer I will share here.
Cognitive was 1) you have to design an elevator for a building that has top 20 floors occupied by google, lower 80 by others 2) how would you decide what countries to expand a google product offering into I was asked specifically what gcp service I thought the market would find most coMpelling. I spoke generally with details about market needs for thE category of so/ml but was pushed to speak specifically about a gcp product. I only had three days to prepare and as this is not a specifically technical role I was very unprepared for that! Tell me about a time you’ve had to make decisions with little information. Others. But I can’t remember specifically. Honestly didn’t get into OTE.

Congrats and good luck! What questions did they ask in the Gen knowledge and cognitive portions? Also, how much OTE and equity they proposed in initial calls?
