I had google onsite on last week. I emailed my recruiter today for status and he told that he is waiting for the full feedbacks and currently following up with them. Does that mean I am rejected? Why it is taking so long for interviewers to give feedback to recruiter.
More importantly- your recruiter emailed you back on Memorial Day?
This is actually a red flag for me too.
Adding on to that question. Does it need to be unanimous positive feedback to continue to the next level or can that one remaining feedback derail you although all the other feedbacks were positive?
Nope, it can be mixed feedback. As long as the majority is positive then you can move to the next steps.
I'm reading this after having what I thought might be a 3/5 success ratio in my interviews a week ago. I also have 2 referrals from Googlers I used to work with. Hoping those can act as positive data points. Thanks for posting this! Found it after searching.
Don’t overthink it. Interviewers have actual jobs they care more about so it’s not the top of their priority queue
They take forever. This may be useful https://www.practicecodinginterview.com/blog/2018/8/4/the-google-interview-process
Did you get response? When did you get response from Google?
+1
It literally means that the recruiter is currently following up with them
