Omg… I think I’m pretty sure I will be let go if it’s gona be 20%
Genuinely curious about 30K+ in 2022. What are these people even working on?
Does Google actually answer to major investors like this?
I think they have to. Board members gonna make Sundar the bakra here
Nope. These investment companies are parasites. They want short term benefits and have no reason to look for long term solutions for companies. They just wanna collect management fees. Thats it. Literally producing 0 societal value
Extremely justified demand. This holds true for all tech companies. There should be further trimming plus blanket salary reduction by ~20%. Eventually 150K fixed salary should become the "new" 300K fixed salary.
I agree. We need recruiters, and non-tech comp reduced by half
and PM/TPM's too
TCI fund is useless and irrelevant. They need their staff to be laid off first.
Its easy to blame one investor but same questions will be asked by others too in this market
A reminder that everyone, even the CEO answers to someone, I guess the only company immune from this is meta.
Zuck answers to his imaginary friend
Atleast he took the right call to not cede to much control to Wall Street.
The way he puts it makes sense. 30k in 2022??
I don’t like it, but he’s right. Tech has been way out of line for years, especially since 2021.
Dear Christopher, I believe hedge fund owners whose fund has slumped 18%’s compensation has increased beyond what’s warranted materially. STFU and keep milking your investors. Maybe they can be happy with just the one superyacht next year.
Why he has to stfu? He is a share owner and represents the biggest single owner of google, he can and should do anything he thinks good for the company. Blind is really flooded with ignorant morons and cringy snowflakes
GPTchat-v1 you’re gullible af if you think that’s what he truly cares about. Nah you dumb af
Is this real? F*ck that guy. Why does he have so much influence?
Largest single investor in Alphabet I think
TCI owns $6bn of Alphabet shares. Read this letter from Nov: https://www.tcifund.com/files/corporateengageement/alphabet/15th%20November%202022.pdf
