Posting on behalf of my boyfriend who doesn’t have a blind account.
He has 2 days to decide between MSFT (interned there last summer) and Google for new grad. He really liked his team as MSFT, and does not know what team he will he placed on at Google.
In addition, Google lowballed with his new grad offer.
MSFT (Seattle): 112.5k base, 130k stock, 50k signing bonus
Google (Bay): 131k base, 100k stock, 15k signing bonus
Google refused to negotiate at all, despite negotiating others’ MSFT offers. Is google even worth taking at this point?

Google gives great refreshers so your TC will help increasing every year.
At msft, it'll not grow much at all
Unlike other companies, Google simply does not match your other offers if they don't consider you worth it. It's not called lowballing.
If he is very smart and a doer -> G
If he is average intelligent and talks very well -> M
