If it’s bias to be more diverse, then it’s good to be biased

@Microsoft Blind should not allow people to like their own posts/comments to begin with.

Over 70 % of the NBA is one race. Sounds like they need some diversity and inclusion. I sure hope the people who are advocating d & I for tech will do the same for the nba.

They are biased. There are way more opportunities trying to force minorities into tech. It should be equal for everyone not biased to have a certain ratio of races.

@oomnj that's just the people that were most interested in pursuing it. There is nothing stopping other races or women to go to school and get hired like everyone else.

    • If it’s not reflecting the computer science grad ratio, then there is a problem

If not then there is no problem

I don’t get why Tech has to be diverse. If it is predominantly asians and caucasians who clear their interview process, what’s wrong with the disproportions?

As for conservatives bias, I’ve never heard Google ask for political stance, how the hell would they know that? Unless by conservative bias you mean stating clear homophobic or racist views or something, in which case Google is right to not hire. That stuff is poison in the workplace

Someone could potentially have internships or experiences relating to politics. For example, I have a friend who got offers from Facebook and an alphabet subsidiary who interned for a congressman.
