My current TC is ~300k (12 YOE). I have a FB offer (E5) at ~430k (This includes 25% of sign-on bonus). I interviewed at Google couple of weeks ago and I am currently going through the team matching process. I have a couple of teams interested in me, so the recruiter plans to take my packet to the hiring committee next week. (Recruiter felt that I have positive interview feedbacks (except one) and a team matching first will make it smoother in the hiring committee.)

I would prefer to join Google (vs FB) for wlb. What is the best offer I can snag from Google? (I did not interview for staff eng role. So L5 is likely the best they will give me). Any Dos and Don'ts when doing offer negotiation at Google? What should I be aware about RSUs? What are Google's RSU refreshers like for L5s?

As far as i know G wont match to 430k.
    Refresher starts from 120k.
You dont have to worry negotiating just tell them about fb offer n G will try to the best by you.

Your recruiter mentioned that there was an option to send you to HC without a team match? I was under the impression that Google had changed this policy and all candidates had to be team matched before submission to HC.

Anyone have any info on this?
