Apparently I have to prepare for 2 projects for the technical round. So I use a presentation.

But in case I pass, what is the difference between this and my portfolio presentation for onsite?

Exact same or new projects?

Thanks.

  • From my experience the same thing. You may have to go in depth on the second round though.

Haven’t completed my Google interviews though so maybe maybe not.

Yep, the 2nd round just has different interviewers, you get asked a lot questions around your thinking, design tradeoffs, etc at that stage though. Also be prepared for "how about xxx, did you consider this?".

Slightly tangential, but if you're looking for practice, Prepfully's has several User Interaction folks from Google FB etc. Gotta caveat that its a paid service though.

I used the same projects & deck for the initial round and the onsite. The interviewers should be different.
