So hard being a women in tech industry
A google recruiter reached out wondering if I wanted to interview. I passed the first phone screen and now moving to an onsite. This is for a PgM position. Would I qualify for L4? What salary should I expect for 4 yoe? Should I accept if offered? Currently L4 PM at Amazon. Yoe: 4 TC: 92k
Why did you pass the phone screen and still move to onsite ;)
Too low for a TC
If you nail the interview, you will get promoted level wise for PgM
What level and salary should I expect?
One option is to actually get the offer and see what numbers you get. Sometimes based on your interview you are leveled. So focus on prep and worry about the level and offer value once you get through that phase
+1
What's your location? 92k is crazy low.
Remember a PM at Amazon is program manager not product
That’s where it gets confusing. It could mean program manager on your side of the world. Most of my work with PMs are where they serve as product managers.
Yeah that's backwards. PMs at Amazon are product. PgM is program, although PM is sometimes used as short(er)hand.
Your TC is only 92k currently at Amazon as a PM?
Yeah I’m an L4. Is that low?
Never saw an L4 PM, even L5 are rarity at amazon
