Google L4 ML SWE: Base: $140k RSU: $150@4y SignOn: $30k Dolby P3 Sr. Research Engineer Base: $175k RSU: $80k@4y SignOn: $10k YoE: 2 post Masters I like the team @Dolby but @Google is a better name on resumè as per peers. Any Suggestions? UPDATE: Finalized with Dolby. REASON: Not interested in the matched teams @Google; Have worked in large corporations before so prefer smaller and niche ones; Dolby team seems more focused and impactful
YOE??

Even though the base diff is significant, I would go with Google. Just because it will look nice on your resume as a new fresh grad!
The difference in base a lil too much to ignore. I'd go with dolby
Google has 15% bonus and yearly stock refreshers. Pay would be way higher at Google than Dolby
It is true that yearly stock refreshes are rare at Dolby. You may get a small bit every other year. At P3, the bonus is around 7.5%
Google it is. No brainer.
Even if I like the team at Dolby? Why still Google?
Dolby is a dying company. Google has endless doors to open once in there.
Get google to match then choose google.
Google didnt match the Base They bumped up the RSU from $100k to $150k
Is that per year? Or all four years
That's actually a decent base for L3 at goofle
Goofle
🤣🤣
Google. Hands down.
Wtf is Dolby? Why is this even an option?
Considering the team, the work, the product. Life’s not always about FAANG, right?
Don't listen to a guy who works for a has been php website, go with Dolby
I'm a Googler and I say Dolby. Don't buy into the Kool aid. Let the TC and work do the talking.
