How different is it working for Google when compared to Microsoft. What is it more that Google can to offer other than obvious monetary benefits? I am looking for work life balance with added learning. Not sure if trying to get into Google after months of LeetCoding is worth the effort. Wanted a genuine opinion on it especially from those who have worked in both Google and Microsoft.
Microsoft itself isn't one company and culture. I've seen teams in azure where the work culture is very much like AWS and then windows or ust where you slack off. So, it all depends on team.
Any insight on how the WLB is within Hololens teams in Microsoft?
I have worked in both. Google Kirkland feels like Microsoft with better pay and benefits. Google Mountain View is totally different company though.
Totally different company as in?
Totally different culture.
