YouTube is a lot more product engineering. We ship a lot more medium-sized features, and there are fewer "really difficult" engineering problems. It's a lot more cross-functional than previous G teams I was on. Culture is similar, I think a little more light-hearted at YT. And YTF > TGIF.
YouTube skews very young and is more PM driven than many parts of Google.
