Hey all, I've decided I'm ready to make my next move, so I've come to you all for a bit of help :) I'm looking for referrals into other big tech companies. I know the market is ripe right now, so I'd like to take advantage while it's in our favor. Looking for G L5 equivalent roles, and I'm based in NYC (which may or may not be a constraint for some companies listed below). Any other tips would be helpful. Here's an incomplete list of companies I'm interested in (some I've not listed because I already have contacts/referrals in): #meta #netflix #snap #linkedin #square #stripe #uber #lyft #twitter #apple #roblox #dropbox #snowflake #bolt #pinterest #robinhood #brex #twitch (do they operate independently from Amazon? I know they have their own office) Happy to hear from folks at other places as well, thanks everyone :) Blind Tax: 6.5 YOE ~320 TC
What level at G?
4, had an unfortunate series of events (reorgs + manager change, project reshuffling) that pushed out L5 timeline.

DM if interested in Twilio. L5 maps to Staff here
Having a look at levels, it looks like Twilio is well below G and the like in TC. I'm wondering: in your experience, do you feel that is made up for by other things (ie culture, WLB, etc)? Not trying to be a dick, but one of my goals in this move is to cash in on the excellent market for SWEs, but would consider trading comp for other things.
Yes, Twilio cannot match probably the offers from the likes of meta etc but it makes up with good culture & great WLB. Stock is at 1 year low but avg analyst ratings have 60% upside, so good time to join
