Hi guys, I got onsite rejection from Google HQ in April. Recruiter told me to reach her out after 6months. it’s been almost 5 months. Should I reach her out? or re-apply via referral? I just got an offer from AMAZON SDE I @ HQ if that’s a small factor to get reinterviewed? Thanks, TC: 150k YOE: 1.5
You said it yourself the recruiter told you to reach out after 6 months.
Seen people got offer after 1month. Check out this post! "Is it ever possible to reinterview early at Google? (Tech Lounge)" https://us.teamblind.com/s/SwvwHhCF
You can always quit your Amazon job.
You mean if I start working at amazon for couple months then interview at google? Do you think google will judge me?
I just had a recruiter from Amazon contact me asking if I would quit Snap and join Amazon if they sweetened their offer, just to give you some context. This is after I turned them down several months ago. Recruiters want to get you in the door.
Google’s process takes a long time. Especially with the low openings for L3 which is where you’ll be slotted at. I would join Amazon and then quit it I get the Google offer. Because of how their comp is structured, you won’t be paying anything if you quit midway. Google’s offer is also valid for a year, so if you really don’t want to burn bridges you can extend your stay at Amazon.
I’m not sure. May push back maximum 1 month.
😖😖😖 referral i got... took me 2 days
