So after I got rejected for the H1B I did the EB-5 Visa and got my green card in 18 months. It's an expensive option but it's worth it IMO. Unfortunately for those applying now from India the expected wait time is 5 years. Things got crazy with EB5 popularity among Indians in last 18 months.
