So now I have a few years of Google engineering senior SWE to light up my resume.
What next? I have great tech skills, great leadership skills, great management skills, but I don't know how to talk like an executive. I enjoy it all. However I am not a tech genius so I don't see how I can continue getting promoted at Google on the tech ladder. And the management later at Google seems boring, focused on getting reports promoted.
Should I go to a small company, try to get hired as a software director?
Is the management leadership path a bad idea for a career because it's harder to find jobs in that area? I see execs/vps/c-level/directors struggle... Or if I learn how to talk like one can I do ok?
Should I go be a higher ranked engineer at a smaller company?
Should I do a startup if i can find a super high base comp?
Is Google on my resume enough to stop thinking about brand names?
What is the path with the greatest potential for income and stability even if the market takes a down turn?
How can I learn to sound and think like an executive?
How can I way more efficiently learn to be a better software designer?

You could move to FB for a similar pay and perhaps higher growth.
Get an MBA, Google will pay for it.
Another plan is to be a founder and get acquired by Google again... Tough but possible if you get the right team
