      I hate the government more than the next guy, but the debt levels aren’t really that bad rn compared to historical levels. The only major problem debt-wise is social security obligations, and those benefits will probably be cut when the time comes

      Well if you’d taken intermediate or advanced macro you’d learn that the debt isn’t a big deal. So no implications for personal finance besides what you already know. Diversify, get some hard assets, a couple gold coins, etc. majored in Econ ama
