What is office culture like in Grab Bellevue/Seattle Nowadays? Wlb? Office politics, etc? TC: 270k, 2 yoe
Do you like working nights? If you look around grab office do you feel like you fit in? You will need to have meetings with Singapore in the night and there isnât much diversity in the office.
By working nights, do you mean 70+ hours a week? Or just meetings with Singapore?
Ex-Grabber here. Won't recommend. Many friends I know from Amazon/MSFT joined then left. Good prospects but the engineering quality from the HQ will make you want to pull your hair out.
Totally agree.
Dude, please donât leave Stripe for Grab. Itâs not a valley company, not even a bit. Ex-Uber employee here.
Is it true that they pay well for entry level?
Advice - Blind is about a place you would get genuine answers to this question. Most people who are happy won't have time looking for posts and replying to this. You have a huge selection bias. Trust your instincts, search contacts you can trust through LinkedIn etc., talk to hiring manager and make your own decision.
I agree with him. I was pretty shocked that so many people think grab has bad culture/work/quality. Won't say it is amazing, there definitely is room for improvement. The management /leadership has not been able to earn the kind of loyalty fb/google has. But they are trying. I would say atleast 50% of the teams are working on interesting projects.
No one said the projects werenât interesting. The comments are crap work-life balance, crap hours, crap pay and crap tech stack. But if interesting problems are all you care about, have fun.
Life is too short for putting up with so much j crap @ Ssatay
