Currently interning as a swe at Bloomberg, expecting a return offer. I don't feel confident in passing interviews, and the transition to full time is scary to me. I don't have a great sense of what I value in a job (location, type of work, culture, etc.) Looking for advice from people who made a similar decision.
Do more internships
interns, also try to get into FANG if you can help it
BBG pays really well that I can say. I mean 160-170k for fresh grads is pretty good. All cash btw
Keep in mind that if you do an additional year and don't do another internship at Bloomberg then you won't get a return offer from Bloomberg for full-time. I recommend finding fall/winter internships elsewhere and do Bloomberg again in the summer so you have the Bloomberg offer as a backup
Thanks for pointing that out. I don't have much info on this but I have heard previous interns at Bloomberg only need to go through a brief non-technical phone call with a manager to get a full time offer.
If u did will during the internship and ur personality is good u will for sure get an offer

Mostly new grads are in the same phase, you’re not the first one. Don’t worry.
Thanks for the reassurance! Are you suggesting to graduate early, if this is how most new grads feel?
