After ten years in all aspects of talent acquisition, I want to go after my dream job. I’d love and greatly appreciate to hear if anyone has made a transition into anything graphic design, UX or even front end web dev, etc. I’m probably more inclined to go graphic design and try working my way into UX. Web dev would be interesting but I don’t exactly have a programming foundation. I understand the differences and maybe it’s a long shot but I’m really just looking to have the opportunity to be more creative, artistically. I’ve never stopped painting, drawing, even freelancing creating small companies branding efforts. I’ve lived on coursera and other online courses and done what I could using the software I have but I’m totally a beginner 100%. Any insights or thoughts on what best steps might be moving forward would be awesome. Or any opinions on checking out graphic design bootcamps like general assembly or others. I’ve seen other threads on SDE bootcamps but I’m hopeful. Thank you blind community:)

Worried that our top performer is an attrition risk. How do managers handle this?
Find a mentor who is in the role you want. Search phone tool for the job role, and filter by location. I’m helping two others going from recruiting/TA to other fields. Feel free to PM me if you want to talk.
I agree with you ... I was looking into career ambassador program but will poke around to see if I have any acquaintances that may be able to make an intro. Thanks so much for your import :)
If you want to go the tech route look at the Amazon Technical Academy on the wiki. I know they have a program for people to find a path to SDE but they may be able to pilot something for other tech roles as well.
