Feedback is a bit personal I guess, and honestly, it’s not the same for everyone. I’m ex-Bloomberg now, and got offers from F and G but not A, but I chose to join a HF over them all. Basically, Bloomberg doesn’t have a good structure for senior ICs, so I didn’t get to do system design as a part of my job there. I knew I was really good at Programming questions, but System Design in this capacity was a new experience. When I was prepping for interviews, I could come up with theoretical/abstract solutions on my own. But I did not have any structure, nor was I covering all bases from an interviewer’s perspective. This document gave me a way to gather my thoughts, and prepare a breakdown of the design inside 45 mins, and in a way that I can keep the interviewer engaged and interested. It really helped me with my FGA interviews, and easily had them ranking me as a senior hire in their offers. Note that I have good presentation skills from other experiences, and I also worked pretty hard with this. Note that this is not a substitute to actual system design experience. But if you were not given the opportunity at work before, and you want to learn and understand the process behind it, and then work hard to own it and deliver it on a whiteboard, this document can get you started the best.

Lol. The educative guys should start paying me for this. I know this is a hard forum to gauge truth, so I leave the rest to you, but it definitely was one of the cogs that helped me get a much much better job with a much better pay last year.
