Anyone who had worked at #disney or know disney from the coordinator position know what the potential growth is like? Trying to pivot industries from accounting to #entertainment and #media but not sure if pay cut is worth it if I cannot grow in the department (advertising)
Have you considered production accounting for film and television? Disney has spots for those as well as other studios, depending what state/country your in, it pays decently. Production accountants can make like $2k-$4k a week and if you move up to production finance is more than that. Thing is you’ll have to climb the ladder a bit to get there too but with your experience shouldn’t be too long. It’s gig work but there’s such a demand for people (because not many people know about this job) finding a spot isn’t too bad. I just switch from Disney to Netflix and it’s been great. From what I’ve seen at Disney, best way to grow is out and up. Leaving the company and coming back with more experience. Look up Rice Gordon Pictures if your interested, these jobs aren’t posted on LinkedIn because they’re so niche. Best of luck to you.
thank you!!
Do you have experience with the marketing side? Trying to get out of my agency role.
Sorry no I don’t. Best of luck to you!
Hello Disney folks, Would you be willing to refer me to an opening at your company? I have direct experience working at similar projects as the job.

Career growth is slow. A lot of people want to work here. WLB might be okay.
