Today mobile operators are working closely with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, etc.) to deliver next generation of products/services 5G, IoT, gaming, streaming, smart cities etc. As this is a field that excites me, I would like seek inputs and guidance on potential fit and roles I can explore in this area. My background is I work in a niche area of of active testing/service assurance with major mobile carriers (operators) in Asia Pacific and Europe. Currently working in Business Development/PreSales, having led deployment projects in the past as well as in r&d developing the product. Keen to work for a communications company like Twilio, Vonage, Messagebird or Amazon, Microsoft, Nokia, Ericsson etc. #telecom #twilio #awssales #awssolutionsarchitect #azure #vonage #messagebird #nokia #ericsson #affirmednetworks #microsoft #presales #bizdev #salesengineer
DM for Vonage if you are still looking
DM for amazon if still of interest
You could be a great fit for Oracle CGBU. We build the session border controllers and policy directors that run on public clouds including Oracle’s own OCI cloud
VMWare, Aviatrix, Solution Architect at AWS, Citrix etc
Dm for Wayfair
I was in the same road and I decided to try in AWS in a SA position, telecom industry pays really low and the trends in technology are moving everything to cloud. As an SA you can work with telecom companies and provide them with some solutions in the cloud.
How is the culture there in telecom space as SA in AWS? I'm assuming there are ton of opportunities to scale out to in Telco. How's the pay?
They pay is lower than SWE(probably 10 percent) but WLB is better, they have a lot of organizations but you work as a consultant for the companies. I know there are roles specialized in telecommunications but I don't know the salary.
DM me - I have just made a switch from Telco after 12 years to Fintec.
DM'd you. Thanks!
@ericsson, which company? May I dm you?

DM'd you thanks!
