H-1 B visa transfer NO Premium processing timeline

I am a Program Manager and have an offer from one of the FAANG companies. I will need H1 B visa transfer. Plan to join new company upon approval of visa transfer. If you have had H-1B visa transfer happen after Premium processing was stopped, please respond with how long did transfer take ? I hear visa transfer timeline currently is 6-10 months without premium processing and still to be seen if USCIS will allow PP from Feb’19.

This will give you no useful information. I am sure there are some people who had theirs approved in a month. But it’s likely not going to happen to you.

Being a program manager, you are getting RFEd for sure. I don’t understand how is program management a high skilled job.

If your application is submitted at California center then you just have to wait till the premium processing is back. Regular applications can take anywhere between 8-11 months. On the other hand, I have seen approval cases on trakiit within 50-60 days at the Vermont center.

Currently it’s 4 to 9 months. If you do not get an RFE, its possible to be approved in around 6 months.

Thanks, did you have a transfer recently?
