Given the ~85K annual cap, it makes sense to allocate them in a way that it goes to the higher paid, harder to fill jobs. These services companies literally have the original US employees train their foreign replacement, then fire the US employees and require them to sign confidentiality agreements in order to get severance and healthcare. They are rightly getting more scrutiny. I fully agree with what this administration is doing. Also: quoting a study by Deloitte? Deloitte is in the services business! It's like quoting a Pharma companies study about opioids, lol.

If they are foreign born and you're upset, then by all means set up an office in India. Isn't that the best and easiest way to draw the "Indian talent pool"? What makes America obligated to let people into the country? It was meant for the benefit of Americans, not the benefit of foreign nationals alone
