H-1B via consular processing

Hello,
My H-1B application got selected in lottery and I am thinking about choosing consular processing for flexibility with travel.
I am working at Microsoft as FTE since the start of my OPT from June 2019 and my masters is in CSE too. I am planning to attend the interview during October/November

I have the following questions

1. Will the officer ask why I chose consular processing as opposed to change of status ?

2. Will opting for consular processing raise any red flags with the officer?

3. Can I expect the interview to go smooth because of me working as an FTE at a renowned company?

Or is there anything I should be aware of?

People who went for consular processing please provide some insights. Thank you very much in advance.
