Looking for a change of job but my H1-B got approved with my current company. So, should I wait before going for interviews or I can start the process and later the H1-B transfer process as well after October 1st. Or do we need to first get our approved H1-B stamped and then go for H1-B transfer petition. As of now I’m planning to go for H1-B visa stamping in Dec. or so. But I have some interviews lined up that I want to take up right after or around October 1st. Please provide inputs from your experience. TC: $110K YOE: 1 yr
In the same boat, I am planning to go in January. Is there any risk involved initiating transfer before the stamp ?
You might as well switch before you go for stamping.
Lets say I have an offer before Oct 1, when should I start the transfer process? Do we have to wait sometime before initiating transfer ?
Can someone tell me if it's at all possible whether it easier or harder to change employers before Oct 1st on consular petition vs COS petition.

I haven’t done shit today!
You should probably start interviewing now and you can get visa stamped after you switch to the new company. That way you don’t have to get visa stamped twice within the first 3 years
Do we need to get H1-B visa stamped every time we change job ??? I thought it’s just one time per H1-B period
It’s definitely recommended to re-stamp every time you switch employers. But, usually you can enter US with your old visa stamp and the new approved I797 But since you are planning to switch immediately after October, I would recommend to get your visa stamped after you switch. I am on the same boat. I got my H1b approved this year and I am actively interviewing
