H1 Visa Extension & Transfer
I am in this wierd situation. My H1B expires in March 2020 and I filed for a extension last week via regular processing. expected time is 3-6months. I recently got a offer and the company wants to do my H1B transfer asap. Can I do a H1B transfer to a new company while my H1B extension is in process for the current company. TC 210k

Yes. It would be best if your transfer comes through before March, otherwise it is kind of contingent on the extension being approved first.
Transfer will be in premium processing

thanksM Dec 3, 2019Yes yes. I was in similar situation in 2016. Filled for transfer whe extension was in progress. Got both approved with in a week gap. BTW It was in December too !!
