H1 transfer
Anyone got H1b transfer filed recently at California Service Center? i wanted to check how long it usually take? for some folks it got approved in 3-5 days ( got from some posts earlier) Mine got filed on Aug 9th in premium and it is within premium window. current TC- 145k new employer - Amazon L5, TC-290k SOC- software developer, application L3 Education- B.Tech instrumentation technology from one if the NIT yoe-9 didnt get any RFE in my last couple extensions. Appreciate your relevant comments.
From my own experience ( for FTE only -No staffing) I can say the job description provided by the employer, how it relates to the speciality occupation degree requested by your employer and how your coursework relates to the job description are the key elements for RFE chances . More than even TC. If all of the above are well detailed in your application then you should be through.. 5 days or 15 is irrelevant. Just be patient and good luck !
They had a good job description and I had a good foreign degree evaluation which states degree and experience is equal to dual degree bachelors of science and management information systems. Let’s see how it goes.

Initial offer was 240k but I had competitive offer and got a decent feedback from bar raiser so ended up this much. I have other transfer pending as well .. delaying documents so amazon will go through first.

I got RFE yesterday(13th Aug) from California center. Filed on 2nd Aug. My new employer is Amazon too.

Yes have the account but don’t see the case number anywhere How long it takes to get the case number ? Mine was filed on 8th Aug , FedEx tracking shows it was received by CSC on 9th Aug
Mine was filed on 6th. Receipt number was received by them on 9th but they updated only on the 12th. Case still pending.
Guys got an update last evening.. my case was approved on 08/14. Receipt date mentioned 08/10 but premier clock started on 08/09.. got approval on 08/14. Yet to heat from attorney about actual approval dates but I hope it will be for 3 years
I set up email and mobile notification on in both egov & dhs portal and got the update on egov portal.. DHS still has old status so egov is where you can check for latest update
5 days...got approval last week. Was filed one week before that
