Received an RFE today for my H1B transfer. Filed : 12/17/2019 Received : 12/19/2019 RFE : 12/30/2019 Role: SWE YoE : 2 Lawyers : BAL Edit: Responded : 01/07/2020 Approved : 01/10/2020
Without knowing the reason for the RFE there isn’t much anyone can advise you about ...
Is there a specific reason given by USCIS for every rfe? Or is it just generic. The % rise of rfe is staggering since last year. I fear employers just getting tired and stop hiring H1B employees altogether because of all the paperwork and legal fees involved.
Don't think that will ever happen. Not in tech companies
Which role/company to which role/company? Always give full details in the post
How long did Fragomen take to file your H1B transfer after you submitted all the information?
Fragomen or blackrock haven't even shared that with me. Just emailed me saying, "we'll have to push back your joining several weeks due to the rfe, we'll get back soon". Is it dead?
Nope. Just join Bank of America with that receipt
If you are qualified for that role, eligible for the job and are a good fit for that role then your employer and their immigration lawyers will do everything it takes to get that petition approved. When in doubt, keep interviewing and find another employer willing to sponsor

Goodbye USA tech jobs
The same timelines for me as well. What a bummer. Fragomen told me that it now adds 6-8 weeks
Damn.. 6-8 weeks with premium processing?
I think it factors in the time my target employer and fragomen take to respond.
