I have MS degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed university and Bachelors degree in ECE from India. Although I have taken courses where programming was done using Cpp and python. My current job at Cisco is Backend API development. (Mostly Python and Java). Didnt have any issues with initial H1B. Now, for H1B transfer to Amazon i got an RFE. Is there anyone with same profile as mine able to get their RFE approved? RFE: Speciality Occupation TC: 160k YOE: 6 #h1b #h1b #h1b
This. Share your RFE.
Moreover, RFE on March 9th?
No received it a month ago. Trying to respond now.
It’s a pretty common reason for RFE. You will most likely get the approval once your lawyers respond.
Yes, same boat. EE from India, SE in my company. I know the RFE you are referring to. How can EE guy work on CS projects? My lawyers were very much expert. They took each and every subject in engineering and prepared a case for it. They apparently paid University guy around 4K for 20 days job. It was very intense. Don worry, EE has lot of CS subjects, you should be fine but make sure you have good attorneys else its hard to prove. we prepared f**king long report, here is the snapshot of it
Well your degree is in Electrical engineering and now you are doing computer science. USCIS simply wants to how come are you qualified for this job. Times of uncertainly everywhere. Good luck!
Did your RFE get approved?
What was the SOC code used for the Job at amazon. Could you please share your experience with RFE.
Yes! But make a strong case. By listing out CS minor subjects u might have done in your course work and how it helps day to day job. I think u can also submit expert opinion and some evaluation stuffs. Shouldn’t be a problem. The attorneys should know it. It’s not a rare case.
Yes for which question?
Did your RFE get approved?
Dude, You need to share your RFE if you have gotten one. Otherwise no one can answer your question.
