If you can’t vote, politicians won’t listen.

Why 180 or 100 or 200 days? Why not 365 days or until COVID-19 situation is resolved?

(reposting from another thread with the same stupid petition, feel free to copy this, edit and repost everywhere this pops up again ... You have my full support !!) That petition is worth less than a toilet paper - in the current situation, I would prefer a toilet paper over this petition. The petition will go nowhere and heck - it will give you a false sense of accomplishment, when you haven't done anything. I would rather them realize they didn't do anything, so they can do something more tangible like calling their congresswoman or senator and asking them to retain those provisions in the next bill that's might be negotiated in house and Senate. Many folks I have asked about supporting various issues, usually will respond - oh yeah I did my part and signed a petition. And when I ask them what happened after that - they will have no answer. Don't do this. If you really want to fix something, advocate for yourself. Whether it is immigration issue, or any other issue for that matter, stop creating petitions. They are your echo chamber and no one in power will read them. They are worth NOTHING.
