My brother's H1B was picked last year in the lottery. He worked at a startup then. During the Cap Gap period, this company got acquired by a top consulting firm. He got RFE thereafter and has not been approved yet. Chances are he will be rejected. He wants to continue his career in this country. What options does he have in terms of 1. Pursuing a low cost MBA that would allow me to continue ue working full time 2. Options for colleges 3. Should he speak to another attorney and get further counsel? Currently he is on 60 day grace period. Please advise. Serious comments only.
Yes. Big 4. Their attorneys say that he cannot work on H1B anymore till he gets approved as his OPT StEM extended term expired. Looking to get legal counsel
Can’t he work on receipt?
Depending on the employer he could keep working under CPT which means that he will have to keep study a low cost MBA.
Understood. I am doing that on the side. Looking for people who have either been or know of someone else who has been in a similar situation and how they navigated through this. Would you have answers to any of the 3 questions above ?
Can someone please advise ?
Which consulting firm? Is it American?
