May I know the immigration company? Is it Fragomen or others? As far as I’m concerned, they are very unresponsive. I have to ping them every week and ask for status update.

If there is absolutely no delays, you should receive it in 2 weeks. 1 week for LCA approval and 1 week for H1B approval. But that’s not the case, there are a ton of places where things can get delayed, so expect to get it in 3 to 3.5 weeks. Also, if there is RFE, that would take even more time. So, more delays!
Question: will the new 797B have newer expiry dates than their existing one. As such can they continue indefinitely switching companies and renewing their h1b?
It depends; if you are within one year of your current H1B expiry date, the new H1B will have 3 years. Or if you still have 2-2.5 years, your new H1B will have the exact date as your previous one. In any case, I don’t know how it’s calculated but I have seen this in my own case. Yea, you can keep changing jobs as long as you have approved I-140. If not, you have a limitation of 6 years from the first time you get your H1B.
