I am leaving Intel (have not accepted an offer. Plan to do it next week).
My H1B and wife’s H4 expires in Aug 2021 and got an email from Intel law firm to file for extension (non premium). Should I file for extension with Intel and transfer with new company? Or let the other firm do both since they will do premium?
Also, how much does H4 extension cost if I am to do it by myself? One of the companies I am considering says they only sponsor employee and not spouse
Thanks in advance!

I think intel can file for ur extension and while that extension is pending with uscis, ur new employer can file for transfer. So basically extension and transfer can be initiated in parallel. This is what ppl told me on that post.
Not sure about the H4 though
(at worst u may have to cover the lawyer cost)
just less headache
